Carlo Maria Martini (* February 15, 1927 in Turin; † August 31, 2012 in Gallarate) was an italian Jesuit and cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was 85 years old. His education included Pontifical Gregorian University, Pontifical Biblical Institute, Sociale and University of Turin. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Princess of Asturias Award for Social Sciences and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease. He was buried at Milan Cathedral.
