Biography of Celâl Bayar

Celâl Bayar (* 16. May 1883 in Umurbey; † 22. August 1986 in Istanbul) was a türkischer Politiker und Staatspräsident. He was 103 years old. He was married to Reşide Bayar. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His faith was Islam. His awards include Grand Cross Special Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Knight Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and Medal of Independence. He was buried at Bursa Province.
