Biography of Celso Furtado

Celso Furtado (* 26. July 1920 in Pombal; † 20. November 2004 in Rio de Janeiro) was a brasilianischer Ökonom und Diplomat. He was 84 years old. He was married to Lucia Piave Tosi. His education included University of Paris and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Faculty of Law. He received 5 awards, including Grand Cross of the Military Order of Saint James of the Sword, Order of Cultural Merit (Brazil).
