Charles Bachman (* 11. December 1924 in Manhattan; † 13. July 2017 in Lexington) was an american computer scientist. He was 92 years old. His education included Michigan State University, University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science and East Lansing High School. He received 6 awards, including Turing Award, Distinguished Fellow of the British Computer Society. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
