Charles Schäffer (* 4. February 1838 in Philadelphia; † 23. November 1903) was an american physician and botanist. He was 65 years old. He studied at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He was awarded the Fellow of the Geological Society of America.
