Chen Jiayong (* 17. February 1922 in Jintang County; † 26. August 2019 in Beijing) was a chinese metallurgist and chemical engineer. He was 97 years old. His education included National Central University (Nanjing), University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and Chengdu No.7 High School. He worked at National Central University. His awards include State Science and Technology Prizes and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was buried at Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery.
