Biography of Chen Jingrun

Chen Jingrun (* 22. May 1933 in Minhou County; † 19. March 1996 in Beijing) was a chinesischer Mathematiker. He was 62 years old. His education included Xiamen University and The Affiliated High School of Fujian Normal University. He worked at Henan University, Xiamen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences. His awards include Pioneer of Reform, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hua Loo-Keng Prize of Mathematics. His cause of death was pneumonia.
