Biography
Christian de Duve (* October 2, 1917 in Thames Ditton; † May 4, 2013 in Nethen) was a belgian biochemist, cytologist. He was 95 years old. His education included Catholic University of Leuven and Our Lady College, Antwerp. His faith was agnosticism. He received 8 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Leopold II.
