Cynthia Stokes Brown (* 20. March 1938 in Madisonville; † 15. October 2017) was an american historian (born 1938). She was 79 years old. Her education included Duke University, Johns Hopkins University and Eastern High School. She worked at Dominican University of California. She was awarded the American Book Awards. Her cause of death was cancer.
