Daniel Carleton Gajdusek (* September 9, 1923 in Yonkers; † December 12, 2008 in Tromsø Municipality) was an american medical researcher. He was 85 years old. His education included University of Rochester and Harvard Medical School. He received 10 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science.
