Biography
Daniel Quillen (* June 27, 1940 in Orange; † April 30, 2011 in San Francisco) was an american mathematician. He was 70 years old. His education included Harvard University and Newark Academy. His awards include Fields medal, Cole Prize in Algebra and Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was Alzheimer's disease.
