Biography of Daniil Zimin

Daniil Zimin (* 2. December 1918 in Soqraw; † 16. April 1970 in Moscow) was a soviet geophysics (1918—1970). He was 51 years old. He studied at Kazan Federal University. He worked at Wismut and Russian State Geological Prospecting University. His awards include Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", Order of Lenin and State Stalin Prize, 1st degree. He was buried at Alexeevskoe Cemetery.
