Biography of Dave Brubeck

Dave Brubeck (* 6. December 1920 in Concord; † 5. December 2012 in Norwalk) was an american jazz pianist and composer. He was 91 years old. He was married to Iola Brubeck. His education included Conservatory of Music, University of the Pacific, University of the Pacific, Mills College at Northeastern University and Shasta High School. His faith was Catholicism. He received 10 awards, including National Medal of Arts, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Umpawaug Cemetery.
