Biography of David Benney

David Benney (* 8. April 1930 in Wellington; † 9. October 2015) was a new Zealand applied mathematician. He was 85 years old. His education included Victoria University of Wellington, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Emmanuel College. He worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Canterbury. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
