Deon D. Stuthman (* 7. May 1940 in Stanton County; † 18. June 2010 in Roseville) was a breeder of oat cultivars and Chair of the International Oat Committee. He was 70 years old. His education included University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Purdue University. He worked at University of Minnesota. He was awarded the Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
