Dieter Wintgen (* 11. June 1957 in Arnsberg; † 16. August 1994 in Canton of Valais) was a deutscher Physiker. He was 37 years old. He studied at Technical University of Munich. He was awarded the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize.
