He studied at Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Institute of Arts. His awards include Medal of Honor "For merits in the protection of children of Russia", honorary citizen of Kemerovo Oblast and Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 4th class. His cause of death was brain cancer. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
