Biography
Douglass North (* November 5, 1920 in Cambridge; † November 23, 2015 in Benzonia) was an american economist and Nobel laureate. He was 95 years old. His education included University of California, Berkeley, Choate Rosemary Hall and Ashbury College. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association. His cause of death was esophageal cancer.
