Biography of Dschabir al-Ahmad al-Dschabir as-Sabah

Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah (* 29. June 1926 in Kuwait City; † 15. January 2006 in Kuwait City) was an emir of Kuwait from 1977 to 2006. He was 79 years old. He had 50 children. He received 10 awards, including Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath, Collar of the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum. His cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried at Sulaibikhat Cemetery.
