Dževad Karahasan (* January 25, 1953 in Tomislavgrad; † May 19, 2023 in Graz) was a bosnia and Herzegovina writer. He was 70 years old. He was married to Dragana Tomašević-Karahasan. His education included Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb and University of Sarajevo. He received 10 awards, including Prix Européen de l'Essai Charles Veillon, Bruno Kreisky Prize for the Political Book.
