Biography
Edward Norton Lorenz (* May 23, 1917 in West Hartford; † April 16, 2008 in Cambridge) was an american mathematician and meteorologist. He was 90 years old. His education included Dartmouth College, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received 10 awards, including Elliott Cresson Medal, Buys Ballot Medal. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Waterville Valley Cemetery.
