Biography of Eisig Silberschlag

Eisig Silberschlag (* 8. January 1903 in Stryi; † 30. September 1988 in Austin) was a hebrew poet, translator and literary critic. He was 85 years old. He studied at University of Vienna. He worked at University of Texas at Austin and Hebrew College. He was awarded the Tchernichowsky Prize. He was buried at Mount of Olives Jewish Cemetery.
