Biography
Elias M. Stein (* January 13, 1931 in Antwerp; † December 23, 2018 in Somerville) was an american mathematician. He was 87 years old. His education included University of Chicago and Stuyvesant High School. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Rolf Schock Prize in Mathematics. His cause of death was mantle cell lymphoma. He was buried at Princeton Cemetery.
