Biography
Elinor Ostrom (* August 7, 1933 in Los Angeles; † June 12, 2012 in Bloomington) was an american political economist. She was 78 years old. She was married to Vincent Ostrom. Her education included University of California, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills High School. She received 8 awards, including Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, Johan Skytte Prize in Political Science. Her cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
