Elis Graves Otis (* 3. August 1811 in Halifax; † 8. April 1861 in New York City) was an uS-amerikanischer Erfinder. He was 49 years old. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). He was awarded the National Inventors Hall of Fame. His cause of death was diphtheria. He was buried at Oakland Cemetery.
