Biography of Emil Bessels

Emil Bessels (* 2. June 1847 in Heidelberg; † 30. March 1888 in Stuttgart) was a deutscher Naturforscher und Nordpolfahrer. He was 40 years old. His education included Heidelberg University, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and University of Stuttgart. He worked at Smithsonian Institution. His faith was Judaism. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Bergfriedhof.
