Biography of Émile Coornaert

Émile Coornaert (* 31. August 1886 in Hondschoote; † 25. February 1980 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a historian and journalist. He was 93 years old. He worked at Collège de France, University of São Paulo and École pratique des hautes études. He received 7 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
