Emmett B. Carmichael (* 4. September 1895 in Shelbyville; † 14. November 1985) was an american biochemist. He was 90 years old. He studied at University of Cincinnati. He worked at University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He was awarded the American Institute of Chemists Gold Medal.
