Biography
Ephraim Katzir (* May 16, 1916 in Kyiv; † May 30, 2009 in Rehovot) was an israeli scientist, 4th President of Israel (1973–1978) - (born 1916-2009). He was 93 years old. He was married to Nina Katzir. His education included Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Harvard University, Columbia University, New York University Tandon School of Engineering and Gymnasia Rehavia. His faith was Judaism. He received 8 awards, including Israel Prize, Japan Prize.
