Biography of Ernst Mach

Ernst Mach (* 18. February 1838 in Brno-Chrlice; † 19. February 1916 in Vaterstetten) was a österreichischer Physiker, Philosoph und Wissenschaftstheoretiker. He was 78 years old. He was married to Ludovica Aloisia Carolina Marussig. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included convent Gymnasium in Seitenstetten, Piaristické gymnázium v Kroměříži and University of Vienna. He worked at University of Vienna, University of Graz and Charles University. His faith was atheism. He was awarded the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art. His cause of death was colorectal cancer. He was buried at Nordfriedhof.
