Ervin Baktay (* 24. June 1890 in Dunaharaszti; † 7. May 1963 in Budapest) was a hungarian Indologist. He was 72 years old. He studied at Hungarian University of Fine Arts. He worked at Nyugat. He was awarded the Kőrösi Csoma Sándor commemorative plaquette. He was buried at Farkasréti Cemetery.
