Eugène Delacroix (* 26. April 1798 in Saint-Maurice; † 13. August 1863 in Paris) was a französischer Maler. He was 65 years old. His education included Beaux-Arts de Paris, Lycée Louis-le-Grand and Lycée Pierre-Corneille. His awards include Knight of the Legion of Honour, Officer of the Legion of Honour and Commander of the Legion of Honour. His cause of death was tuberculosis. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
