Eugene Parker (* June 10, 1927 in Houghton; † March 15, 2022 in Chicago) was an american astronomer. He was 94 years old. His education included Michigan State University and California Institute of Technology. He received 10 awards, including National Medal of Science, William Bowie Medal.
