Eva Ibbotson (* January 21, 1925 in Vienna; † October 20, 2010 in Newcastle upon Tyne) was a british children's writer. She was 85 years old. She had 4 children. Her education included University of Cambridge, Durham University, Dartington Hall School and Bedford College. Her awards include Nestlé Children's Book Prize and Romantic Novelists' Association Awards.
