Biography
Farley Mowat (* May 12, 1921 in Belleville; † May 6, 2014 in Cobourg) was a canadian writer and environmentalist. He was 92 years old. He was married to Claire Mowat. His education included University of Toronto and Richmond Hill High School. He received 5 awards, including Officer of the Order of Canada, Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards. He was buried at Port Hope.
