Biography of Felix Pollaczek

Felix Pollaczek (* 1. December 1892 in Vienna; † 29. April 1981 in Boulogne-Billancourt) was a österreichisch-französischer Mathematiker und Ingenieur. He was 88 years old. He was married to Hilda Geiringer. His education included Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, TU Wien and Brno University of Technology. He worked at AEG, Reichspost, Austrian Armed Forces, France. Direction générale de la poste, German Technical University in Brno and National Center for Scientific Research. He was awarded the John von Neumann Theory Prize.
