Biography of Fernando Botero

Fernando Botero (* 19. April 1932 in Medellín; † 15. September 2023 in Monaco) was a colombian painter and sculptor. He was 91 years old. He was married to Gloria Zea. He had 4 children. His education included National University of Colombia and Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. His awards include Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, Cruz de Boyaca and honorary doctor of the University of Miami. His cause of death was pneumonia.
