Biography of Flora Blanchon

Flora Blanchon (* 2. April 1943 in Aix-les-Bains; † 19. August 2012 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a französische Historikerin und Sinologin. She was 69 years old. Her education included École nationale des langues orientales vivantes, Faculty of Arts of Paris, École pratique des hautes études and Paris-Sorbonne University - Paris IV. She worked at Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and Paris-Sorbonne University - Paris IV. Her awards include Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms and Knight of the Legion of Honour. She was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
