Biography of Florence Golson Bateman

Florence Golson Bateman (* 4. December 1891 in Lowndes County; † 20. January 1987 in Wetumpka) was a songwriter, singer. She was 95 years old. Her education included Tennessee School for the Blind, Huntingdon College and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She was awarded the Alabama Women's Hall of Fame. She was buried at Wetumpka City Cemetery.
