Biography of Florence Meier Chase

Florence Meier Chase (* 1. January 1902 in Springfield; † 6. May 1978 in Manahawkin) was an american botanist. She was 76 years old. Her education included University of Geneva and Wellesley College. She worked at Smithsonian Institution, Columbia University and Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. She was awarded the Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
