Biography of Francis Vian

Francis Vian (* 15. June 1917 in Privas; † 16. August 2008 in Rambouillet) was a französischer Gräzist. He was 91 years old. His education included lycée du Parc, University of Lyon and Faculty of Arts of Paris. He worked at Lycée Michelet, Vanves, Collège-lycée Ampère, Lycée Montaigne, University of Clermont-Ferrand (1896-1976) and Paris Nanterre University. His awards include Officer of the Legion of Honour, Commander of the National Order of Merit and Commander of the French Order of Academic Palms.
