Franciszek Próchnicki (* 30. November 1847 in Berezhany; † 31. October 1911 in Lviv) was a classical philologist. He was 63 years old. He studied at Lviv University. His awards include Knight of the Order of the Iron Crown (Austria), Knight's Cross of the Order of Franz Joseph and Anniversary commemorative medal for civil servants. He was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery.
