Frederick W. Mote (* 2. June 1922 in Plainview; † 10. February 2005 in Aurora) was an american historian of China. He was 82 years old. His education included Harvard University and University of Washington. He worked at Princeton University and Office of Strategic Services. His faith was Confucianism. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
