Friedrich L. Bauer (* June 10, 1924 in Regensburg; † March 26, 2015) was a german computer scientist. He was 90 years old. He studied at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He received 8 awards, including honorary doctorate from Joseph Fourier University, Wilhelm Exner Medal.
