Biography of Furman Bisher

Furman Bisher (* 4. November 1918 in Denton; † 18. March 2012 in Fayetteville) was an american journalist, editor, sportswriter, columnist. He was 93 years old. His education included University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Furman University. He worked at The Charlotte News and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was awarded the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. He was buried at Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery.
