Biography of Gabriel El-Registan

Gabriel El-Registan (* 15. December 1899 in Samarkand; † 30. June 1945 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Dichter, Mitautor der Nationalhymne der UdSSR. He was 45 years old. He worked at Uzbekistanskaya pravda and Izvestia. He received 5 awards, including Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class, Order of the Red Star. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
