Georg Eckert (* 14. August 1912 in Berlin; † 7. January 1974 in Brunswick) was a deutscher Pädagoge, Historiker und Sozialdemokrat. He was 61 years old. He studied at University of Bonn. He worked at TU Braunschweig. He was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was buried at Bad Honnef-Rhöndorf Forest Cemetery.
