Biography of George Floyd

George Floyd (* 14. October 1973 in Fayetteville; † 25. May 2020 in Minneapolis) was an african American man who was a victim of police violence in the United States, killed by Derek Chauvin. He was 46 years old. He had 2 children. His education included Jack Yates High School, Ryan Middle School and Texas A&M University–Kingsville. His cause of death was asphyxia. He was buried at Houston Memorial Gardens.
