Biography of George Hoyt Whipple

George Hoyt Whipple (* 28. August 1878 in Ashland; † 1. February 1976 in Rochester) was an uS-amerikanischer Pathologe. He was 97 years old. His education included Yale University, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Phillips Academy and Johns Hopkins University. He worked at University of Rochester and University of California. His awards include Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Jessie Stevenson Kovalenko Medal and George M. Kober Medal. He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery.
