Biography of George Mason

George Mason (* 2. May 1930; † 13. September 2024 in New Plymouth) was a new Zealand botanist, chemist and philanthropist. He was 94 years old. His education included King's College, Auckland, University of Auckland and University of California, Davis. His awards include Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit and honorary doctor of the University of Auckland.
